The Texas A&M University Center for Mass Spectrometry (CMS) is located in the Interdisciplinary Life Science Building (room 1195) and is dedicated to providing cutting-edge technology and expertise for the characterization of molecules to fulfill the needs of researchers at TAMU.  Mass spectrometry (MS) plays an increasingly important role in molecular level research, and it is central to ‘omics’ research, i.e., petroleomics, proteomics, metabolomics, lipidomics, glycomics, etc and the CMS provides expert staff with modern instrumentation to complete these tasks .   In addition, the research capabilities of the facility are accessible to non-TAMU users; academic, government and industry through a fee-for-service format.  We strongly encourage researchers to consult with us about their project first, before samples are submitted for analysis.
